The Virginia Chorale opens its 41st season with Gentlemen of the Chorale, our first-ever program celebrating the rich tradition of choral music written for lower voices. Our tenors and basses will soar in 19th-century classics by Franz Schubert and Edvard Grieg, and contemporary gems by Benjamin Britten, Darius Milhaud, and Ysaye Barnwell.
