Ein deutsches Requiem
Johannes Brahms
The Virginia Chorale opens its 43rd season with its first-ever performance of Johannes Brahms’ Ein deutsches Requiem (A German Requiem). In luminous, expansive musical lines, this beloved masterwork offers a profound message of remembrance, comfort and hope that powerfully resonates as we commemorate the 25th anniversary of September 11.
We are thrilled to collaborate with our guest artists:
Symone Harcum, soprano & Hunter Enoch, bass
Benjamin Corbin & Susan Ha, piano
This performance is made possible through a generous gift by The Goode Family.
