Our Return to Live Performances To protect the health and safety of our patrons, artists, volunteers, and staff, the Virginia Chorale will maintain the precautions described below at our live performances. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we return to live performing during our 2021-2022 season.
GENERAL HEALTH & SAFETY Below are the steps we will take to support health & safety at our concerts. Participation of all patrons is required.
Vaccination All staff, volunteers, and artists have been fully vaccinated. All patrons are required to be fully vaccinated as of two weeks prior to any concert(s) they plan to attend. Patrons will be asked to answer a question regarding their vaccination status at each concert. However, proof of vaccination will not be required at the venue.
Masks The wearing of face masks will be required for everyone in attendance at all times at Virginia Chorale performances. Masks must fit properly and cover the mouth and nose. Masks should follow CDC Guidelines.
Social Distancing Please follow social distancing guidance at the venue (verbal and/or posted). We ask that you and your party practice safe distancing from other patrons/parties as much as possible. Currently, a safe distance is considered to be 6 feet.
Cleaning & Hygiene We ask that all patrons, staff, and artists frequently wash their hands and use hand sanitizer dispensers located throughout the venue. High-touch areas and shared surfaces, including bathrooms, will be sanitized prior to the start of patron seating.
SEASON MODIFICATIONS: In order to maximize everyone's safety we have modified our normal performance and ticketing practices.
Performances will be no longer than 65 minutes in length.
There will be no intermission.
Though capacity limitations and social distancing requirements have been lifted, we ask that our patrons practice social distancing while seated in the audience.
The Virginia Chorale will retain records of patron attendance for contact tracing purposes, if such becomes necessary.
